I am a 60 year old female recovering from hip replacement, overweight, out-of-shape and don't like to exercise. I love the Primal 7 system, it's fun to use, doesn't hurt my joints, makes me feel safe while doing exercises, pushing my limits without losing my balance. This is truly for everyone/anyone. I look forward to my daily workout.
I purchased a second band For my Primal 7. I now have a #1 and a #2. The original # 2 was too much resistance for pushups the #1 is perfect. I like the versatility of the two different bands. They are easy to change out and the entire setup moves easily from indoors to outdoors. This purchase is helping me to rehab from a hip injury and get back to doing a full workout again. I am 74 and active.
Switching it the bands is super easy and fast. I like having the option of less/more support depending on what exercises I'm doing.
It took a little while to get used to it. But I'm liking it. I've only used it for a little over a week, but it's helping me do strengthening exercises while not putting too much pressure on my joints, which is important for someone with rheumatoid arthritis. I got the over the door version. If I continue to like it, I might invest in a bar so I can position myself directly below, which I think would make the push-ups a little better.
I love being able to do a full, perfect form push-up for the first time in my life! Now it's just a matter of practice, consistency, (and some wt loss) before I'll be able to do a full unassisted push-up!
